Does anyone have any pictures of 1955 Aristons?

I am planning to restore AR71 but as it has been partially dismantled and the interior is missing it would be good to have some pictures for reference. I am determined to return AR71 to her original specification so any help would be very much appreciated.

As I once owned that boat, I might have some pictures for You.
No interior pics though. Toben

Hi Toben,
I've been working away for a while without access to the internet but now I'm back and wanting to press on with the restoration.
Morten gave me some pictures of the boat before he started pulling it apart but they weren't very good and didn't cover all angles. Any pictures you have would be appreciated.

Erio Matteri is going to be carrying out the restoration and he has a similar aged boat that he can take measurements from but it would be interesting to see any little differences that may be present.
Kind regards,

Terry

Good to see you back Terry. I hope all goes well with Erio.

I have not seen anymore MBL's pop up since the one I found however I've not been watching very closely.

We might consider the one we found and pay a little more for it.

Glad to help in anyway I can

Ciao

Don,

It's good to be back!

Work has been keeping me away from boating and the UK but now I'm back for a while I'm determined to crack on with the Ariston. Erio will have the boat with him on Thursday so I'll give him a day or two to stop laughing (or crying) before I ask him how long it will take.
Look forward to talking with you soon.

Hi Terry,
I found some photos of 71 (I think it was 71)taken in 2003. I hope they help.
Best regards, Rich

Hi Rich,

Thanks for these, where was the boat when you photographed it?

I can't be sure if this is the same boat as mine had been partially dismantled when I bought it in Norway. The lower hull of mine has been covered with fibreglass at some point in the past and also had a modified engine hatch.

Thanks for the pictures anyway. 71 is now with Erio Matteri for restoration. He has another early boat in his yard so, hopefully, he'll be able to reconstruct her accurately.
