Olympic pre-1974 upholstery color

Postby Zaratus » Sun Jul 31, 2016 4:50 am

I have a question regarding the genuine color for Riva Olympic upholstery: while boats since 1974 are blue, I hear conflicting stories on the turquoise vinyl used from 1969 to 1973 - and I would appreciate your help!

So far, I understand that it was produced by Italvipla, and reduced the choice to two samples of "genuine" vinyls. Any idea on which one of the two (or another one?) would be the correct one for a true restoration of the upholstery of an 1973 Olympic? Is it the same fabric used for the front seat and the side turquoise bottom parts?

Many thanks for your help

So sorry for the delay. The forum was dormant for several years.

What did you find out?
