newbie requiring a bit of information

hi their im a boat builder from arbroath scotland. ive been given the job of repairing a riva, not sure of model the name on the side was torino minstra. it is 10mm mahogany veneered plywood construction. info i require is where i can get a shaft seal, and can you confirm that its honduras mahogany i need to replace planks with. and what varnish i should use

this is like a dream come true to work on one of these, i usually repair fishing boats :lol:
any info would be great

Welcome to the Riva Forum.

There are different answers depending on what year and model Riva you are working on.

The best thing to do is post some pictures of the boat so we can help you identify it.

From that point we can guide you to part and information regarding wood selection.

To start you might want to watch this video on hull construction.
